Who administers IV therapy at Integral IV?
Every infusion is administered by a Registered Nurse under Nurse Practitioner medical direction. Integral IV is operated by Integral Nursing Inc. and was founded by Christy Ann Willoughan, Registered Nurse. Our Nurse Practitioner is Jackie Muth. We are a nurse-led medical wellness clinic, not an aesthetics or cosmetic clinic.
Do I need a treatment plan before an IV?
Yes. In British Columbia, IV therapy is a medical service, so a Nurse Practitioner must authorize a client-specific treatment plan before your first infusion. Your plan can come from Jackie, our Nurse Practitioner, or from any prescribing practitioner of your choice. Our Registered Nurses deliver treatment only under a client-specific order, and we do not accept walk-in clients without a current plan.

Iron Replenish IV
Monoferric, approximately 75 minutes, administration by a Registered Nurse.
B12 or D3 Injection
Approximately 5 minutes. Administration of physician-prescribed injections.
What happens during an IV therapy appointment?
Your appointment begins with your Registered Nurse confirming your current treatment plan and your consent, then placing the IV line. Most people feel a brief pinch when the line is placed, then settle into a leather recliner while the infusion runs and your nurse monitors you gently throughout. Appointment length depends on the therapy, from about 5 minutes for a B12 injection to approximately 180 minutes for the Full Body Replenish Rehydration IV.
Do I need bloodwork first?
Yes. We ask for recent bloodwork so your care stays safe: within the last 6 months if your health is stable, or within the last 3 months if your health status has changed. All iron infusions require recent bloodwork. Jackie can provide the lab requisition, or you can send in results from your regular medical practitioner ahead of your appointment.
